In readiness for the countywide NAVCDP PICD (Farmers Entry Meetings) process, the CECM for Agriculture and Cooperatives Development Dr. Kiplimo Arap Lagat joined the ward technical teams for Chepkunyuk and Ollessos wards during their PICD planning meeting.
The project intends to create awareness among farmers and form community implementation institutions, dedicated to spearheading the project and supporting small holder farmers towards market-driven commercial agriculture.
The objective of PICD process is;
- To ensure community Participation to identify and prioritise Agricultural and Other Development Challenges.
- To develop the community Development Plan to address the prioritized challenges.
